A couple of guys are walking through a field and happen upon a

    well.  Like normal guys, they look down the well and begin to

    wonder how deep it is. So they look around for a stick or rock

    to drop down it, but can't find anything.  Eventually they

    come across a transmission lying in the field, so they drag
 
    it over to the well and drop it down.

    They stare down the well and wait for a sound but don't hear

    anything. Suddenly they hear something behind them and turn

    around to see a goat coming at them like greased lightning.

    They jump aside just in time and the goat goes right on past

    and falls down the well.

    Stunned, they're staring down the well in disbelief as they 

    hear something else behind them.  They turn around just as a
 
    farmer comes up to them. "Say," the farmer asks, "have you

    guys seen a goat around here?". "As a matter of fact we have;

    " the men reply, "he was running up behind us really fast 

    and we stepped aside and he fell in the well."

    "That's impossible," says the farmer, "I had him chained to a
 
    transmission!"
