The bartender \par approaches and tells him, "You know, a mug \par goes flat after I draw it so it would taste better \par if you bought just one at a time." \par \par The cowboy replies, "Well, you see, I have \par two brothers. One is in Australia, the other \par is in Dublin and I'm in Texas. When we all left \par Wyoming, we promised that we'd drink this \par way to remember the days we were together. \par So I drink one for each of my brothers and one \par for myself." \par \par The bartender admits that this is a nice custom \par and leaves it there. The cowboy becomes a \par regular in the bar, and always drinks the same \par way. He orders three mugs and drinks them in turn. \par \par One day, he comes in and orders only two \par mugs! All the regulars take notice and fall silent. \par \par When he comes back to the bar for the second \par round, the bartender says, "I don't want to intrude \par on your grief, but I wanted to offer my condolences \par on your loss." \par \par The cowboy looks quite puzzled for a moment, \par then a light dawns and he laughs. "Oh, no, \par everybody's just fine," he explains...... \par "It's just that my wife and I joined the \par Baptist Church and obviously I had \par to quit drinking. Hasn't affected my brothers \par though." \fs20\par \par \par \par }
